Washington. The Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA) has hired Nick Iacovella as its new Communications Director. Iacovella, who begins work today at CPA, will engage with national media on behalf of CPA and its members. He previously served as Deputy Director of Communications for Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Director of Communications for the Senate Committee on Small Businesses and Entrepreneurship.
“We’re very pleased to bring Nick aboard at such a crucial time in the fight to reshore American industry,” said Michael Stumo, CEO of the CPA. “As CPA steadily expands its presence in Washington and throughout the nation, Nick can provide a helpful bridge to media outlets at both the local and national level. His commitment to rebuilding American manufacturing and fighting for middle-class jobs will add new capabilities to our very dedicated team.”
Iacovella will expand CPA’s media outreach across broadcast, print, and digital platforms. Prior to working as a staffer in the U.S. Senate, Iacovella handled communications and legislative work in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is a veteran of multiple political campaigns and has also worked in government relations.
