A dozen agriculture groups spent nearly an hour discussing trade and other key policy priorities with representatives of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign Monday, a discussion that mirrored those held with Hillary Clinton in June.

The groups did not shy from their divergent views on issues like trade policy, according to sources in attendance. Some groups advanced a strong position supporting policies like the Trans-Pacific Partnership, while others believe their industries have not received a fare shake in recent trade deals.
