Nick Iacovella is the Executive Vice President for the Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA), the leading national bipartisan organization representing domestic producers and workers across key industries of the U.S. economy. In this role, he assists the President in managing and executing CPA’s strategic initiatives, including government affairs, public relations, economic research, and industry advocacy. Additionally, Nick also serves as the Head of Public Affairs and Communications for CPA.
Since joining CPA in 2021 as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications, Nick has led the development and execution of high-impact communications strategies that advance CPA’s policy objectives. He oversees all messaging, media relations, and content strategy, ensuring CPA’s voice remains prominent in critical economic and trade policy debates. His work includes managing earned media engagement, paid media campaigns, and public messaging initiatives.
Nick maintains a strong network of journalists and media professionals across national, local, and foreign media outlets, with his commentary and insights regularly featured in major publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg, The Financial Times, Reuters, Politico, Axios, and The Hill.
Before joining CPA, Nick served as Deputy Director of Communications for U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, where he was the senator’s spokesperson while Rubio was Acting Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. He also held key roles as Director of Communications for the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and as a spokesperson for Senator Rubio’s political campaign.
Earlier in his career, Nick worked in the U.S. House of Representatives in various policy and communications roles, including as Legislative Assistant to the Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets. He is a veteran of multiple political campaigns, having served as Director of Communications and spokesperson, overseeing media strategy, budgets, and consultant engagement. He also has experience in government relations, where he developed communications strategies and advocacy campaigns to influence policymakers and key stakeholders.
Nick holds a B.S. in Finance and International Business from the University of Tampa, where he was a member of the Men’s Baseball team. He resides in Sarasota, FL, with his wife.
