Nick Iacovella is the Senior Vice President, Public Affairs and Communications for the Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA). He previously served as the Deputy Director of Communications for U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Director of Communications for the Senate Committee on Small Businesses and Entrepreneurship.
Nick develops, manages, and executes multidimensional communications strategies that advance the goals of CPA on key policy issues. He is responsible for formulating and overseeing all messaging and media strategy for CPA and its members, including earned media engagement, paid media, and content programs.
He manages the Communications Team, overseeing budgets, projects, and program execution. Nick maintains a strong network of journalists and members of the media at both the national and local level, as well as extensive contacts in cable, broadcast, and radio.
He is regularly quoted in major national publications like The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg, Reuters, Politico, Axios, and The Hill. Prior to joining CPA, Nick was Deputy Director of Communications for U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, serving as spokesperson for the senator while he was Acting Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
Nick was also Director of Communications for the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and was the spokesperson for Senator Rubio’s political campaign. Prior to his work in the United States Senate, Nick served in multiple policy and communications roles in the United States House of Representatives, including serving as Legislative Assistant to the Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets.
He is a veteran of multiple political campaigns where he served as Director of Communications and spokesperson, overseeing all media strategies, budgets, and consultants. He also worked at a government relations firm where he developed communications strategy and issue advocacy campaigns to influence policymakers and target markets.
