The Technology and Manufacturing Association (TMA) of Illinois has become the newest trade association member of Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA). TMA is a 1,000 member organization of precision manufacturing and supplier companies in the greater Chicago area.
“The CPA team is excited to work with TMA to continue our national momentum towards rebuilding American production and broadly shared prosperity,” said Michael Stumo, CEO of CPA. “TMA is a well respected organization with significant influence in Illinois among manufacturers and policy leaders.”
TMA was founded in 1925 and has since grown into an important, full service membership organization that supports industry by providing education, training, networking and advocacy to foster member companies’ global competitiveness.
“TMA joined CPA because we have common goals, and because our members want influence on important trade and tax issues in Washington,” said Steve Rauschenberger, President of TMA. “Our members are poised to grow and create good paying jobs if we can shift the national focus to rebuilding American supply chains by unleashing our competitiveness.”
CPA and TMA will work hard to provide quality information and analysis to Illinois’ federal delegation on issues surrounding currency misalignment, tax reform, trade policy, and a national competitiveness strategy.
