Press Release: Sean Hannity Once Again Sells Out American Manufacturing Workers

Over the last five years 30 American solar manufacturers who played by the rules have gone bankrupt because China cheated through cyber-theft and by enabling their companies to purposely sell solar cells and panels at a loss in an attempt to dominate this critical market.  Despite these catastrophic developments, lobby groups siding with China have once again paid Sean Hannity to do an advertisement that sells out American workers.

The Coalition for a Prosperous America, a nonprofit organization representing the interests of 4.1 million households through their agricultural, manufacturing and labor members, issued the following statement:

“We are disappointed that Mr. Hannity continues to take money from groups that see no problem with China’s cheating, which has decimated an entire industry and directly led to the loss of numerous American manufacturing jobs.  We continue to support the measures necessary to stop China’s cheating, including strong tariffs.”

“We hope that Mr. Hannity takes a hard look at the groups that are involved in creating and distributing these ads because they have one thing in common, they are enabling China and its proxies to kill off American manufacturing.  Their members include companies based in China and make their products in China and other non-US locations.”
