Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) on Tuesday (April 28) said he and many other Democrats want to see the three trade bills that passed out of the Finance Committee along with legislation to reauthorize fast-track move together on the floor, but that he is not clear that this is the majority’s plan.

“So I think they have to be together, so does the customs bill, because the customs bill’s where all the trade enforcement is – Leveling the Playing Field, ‘Super 301,’ the ban on child labor, currency – all those are in the customs bill and if you passed them separately I frankly don’t trust the House of Representatives to do its job and pass them all at the same time, particularly when they have such mixed feelings or negative feelings about a lot of them,” he said.
