Froman Announces Work On TPP Implementing Bill, Reports

This week kicked off with U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman announcing today (June 20) at the Council on Foreign Relations that the Obama administration is engaged in drafting the implementing bill of the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the other required elements of a legislative package, which Congress could vote on when a “window of opportunity” opens in the lame-duck session.

This was the first of three TPP events that Froman is scheduled to do in two days. Froman will talk about TPP and “its impact on the global cosmetic and personal care products industry” today on a teleconference organized by the Personal Care Products Council, according to the council.
