Washington~ President elect, Donald Trump, issued a video on Monday outlining his policy plans for his first 100 days in office and vowing to issue a note of intent to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) “from day one.”
“I am going to issue our notification of intent to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a potential disaster for our country.”
Trump also said he “wants the next generation of production and innovation to happen right here in our great homeland, America.”
Trump campaigned on a promise to stop the TPP. CPA applauds President-elect Trump for keeping his campaign promise.
“The TPP could not be fixed, so tweaking it was not a realistic option, said Michael Stumo, CEO of CPA. “If there was a mandate in this wave election, it was that the previously forgotten working class rightly rejected the globalist tendencies of both parties’ establishments.”
CPA will work with Mr. Trump to find ways to make and grow more in the US rather than promoting global supply chains.
