Washington~ Yesterday, the Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA) met with United States Trade Representative, Robert Lighthizer to talk about NAFTA renegotiations, trade enforcement, trade deficits, and currency misalignment. CPA members had an opportunity to share the challenges they face in their business due to failed trade policy.
“It was a great meeting with USTR Bob Lighthizer and his team,” said Dan DiMicco, CPA Chairman. “It was clear that Ambassador Lighthizer and the President are committed to major trade reform. CPA together with our 4 million strong organization expressed our commitment to support their efforts.”
About CPA: The Coalition for a Prosperous America is the nation’s premier organization working on the intersection of trade, jobs, tax and economic growth. We represent the interests of 4.1 million households through our agricultural, manufacturing and labor members.
