The Trump administration has prepared a plan for tariffs on another $267 billion in Chinese goods, the president said on Friday.

The package would be in addition to the tariffs expected any day on $200 billion. The U.S. has already hit $50 billion worth with tariffs under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974.
“The $200 billion we are talking about could take place very soon depending on what happens with them. To a certain extent its going to be up to China,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One, according to Reuters. “And I hate to say this, but behind that is another $267 billion ready to go on short notice if I want. That changes the equation.”
