Kudlow: Tariff payment deferrals rejected as ‘too complicated’

The Trump administration has decided not to postpone tariff payments as part of its response to the pandemic, National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow said on Friday…

Kudlow said the administration had “looked a little bit at some most-favored-nation customs duties, and we decided it was too complicated and it might send the wrong signals. So I would not expect to see any movement on tariffs right now.”
